There are plenty of fantastic restaurants & pubs in the Old Town, from within just 1 minutes walk! To give an idea of distance, it will take approximately 15 minutes to walk up to the castle (if you don't get distracted!) and about 10 minutes to get to Princes Street and Edinburgh's Georgian "New Town" with its wide range of shops, galleries & contemporary bars.

The apartment enjoys a quiet location on South Learmonth Gardens, a traditional cobbled street overlooking private gardens. The trendy area of Stockbridge with boutique shops and popular bars/restaurants is just a short stroll away. Trivia - South Learmonth Gardens was once home to Sir Ernest Shackleton, the Antarctic explorer.
The property consists of a large drawing (living) room, hallway, two double bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and plenty of storage. The drawing room has a desk/study area.
Both bedrooms have large wardrobes and the apartment has ample storage for suitcases and luggage.
The rent includes bed linen and towels for all guests. Complimentary tea/coffee, biscuits and milk are provided for your arrival. A small amount of basic essentials, e.g. washing-up liquid, are provided which should be ample for a short stay (up to 4-5 days). In addition, the property has a large family sitting room, a drawing room, a study, a large open plan kitchen/dining space with a snug to relax in.
